all things must pass

as the sun sets on another day, another tour has come to a close….but enough of me waxing all philosophical and shit. our glorious north american tour came to an end saturday in denver. it was a great tour. i’ve decided to summarize all the great things about the tour on a day-by-day/city-by-city basis. but before i begin, let me just say, that white denim are amazing!!!! i can’t imagine a better band to go on tour with. amazing musicians. amazing people.

5/14, seattle: two shows: triple door lunchtime show for kexp, then showbox show at night. a sunny day in seattle (where did that come from), kids in the hall (where did that come from), all the crazy dancing/singing folks down front (for the whole night), more late night weirdness/shinanigans, another 21+/under 21 split room situation (boo), but no baseball backstop net (yeah)

that’s it. i know the lists got more detailed as the days went by. it’s not because things were more or less great on any of the early days, i just remember more from the more recent days…that’s all.

thanks to everybody who came out to a show/shows this tour, and to everybody that helped us out. i had a great time. thanks to drew, chris, and shack. hope to see all of you soon.

later,
josh
